The Smoking Gun

  • Fringe ArtSpace 54 W Church St Suite 201 Orlando United States (map)

A couple of parents are helping their only child find his footing as they tear his life in two. Survival may be possible with the aid of his new guide.

In this raucous comedy, a couple of New York City parents are helping their only child Neil find his footing as they tear his life in two. Now Neil must become the grownup in gracefully bouncing between separate households, always remembering to bring fresh underwear, laptop, phone and a smiling face. When a cynical and funny kid named Bruce steps in to become Neil’s “Jiminy Cricket” guide to divorce, he reminds Neil of his basic right to survive in one piece. (“But, like, how is that even possible?”) Surprisingly it is possible, but, according to his guide, Neil has to brave up and take a journey into a land of secret plans.

Recommended for ages 13 & Up for Adult Language and Mature Themes.
