General Festival Questions

What is Winter Mini-Fest?
Orlando Fringe’s Winter Mini-Fest is a smaller curated version of our May Festival that is celebrating its 10th anniversary. This is a multi genre festival featuring everything from Dance, to storytelling, to traditional theatre. There is a little something for everyone. The festival follows an artist-driven model, meaning we do not charge an admission fee for artist to participate and we split the tickets 50/50.

When and where does the festival take place?
Winter Mini-Fest runs from January 7th to January 11th, at The Orlando Shakes located at 812 E. Rollins St. Orlando FL, 32803. Visit Orlandofringe.org/where-to-park parking information. Find your venue by going to Orlandofringe.org/venues-wmf

Do I need tickets?
Yes! You’ll need a Fringe Button (a one-time purchase supporting the festival) and individual show tickets, which can be bought online or at the festival box office. Kid’s Fringe is completely free so join us on Saturday, January 10th, from 10am - 12pm. Purchase your Buttons HERE.

How do I get tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through the Orlando Fringe website or at the in-person box office during the festival. There is a $2 ticket fee on all tickets. Purchase tickets online HERE.

What types of performances can I expect?
A mix of theatre, comedy, musicals, dance, cabaret, immersive experiences, and experimental art—plus a variety of free Kids Fringe performances.

Kids Fringe & Family-Friendly Events

Is the festival family-friendly?
Yes! While many shows are for adults, Kids Fringe (January 10th 10:00am - 12:00pm) offers free, interactive performances and workshops designed for young audiences. Family-friendly shows are also marked in the festival guide.

What is Kids Fringe?
Kids Fringe is a special part of the festival featuring theatre, crafts, and hands-on activities for children and families at Orlando Garden Club during the both weekends of Orlando Fringe Festival. For more information visit orlandofringe.org/kids-fringe

Visual Fringe

What is Visual Fringe?
Visual Fringe is the visual arts component of the festival, showcasing local and national artists through gallery exhibits, live demonstrations, and an art market. 100% of art sales go directly to the artists. For information about Visual Fringe please visit Orlandofringe.org/visual-fringe

Festival Logistics

Is there parking available?
Yes! Limited free parking is available at Loch Haven Park. Paid parking is available at nearby lots and garages. We recommend arriving early or using rideshare services. Please visit Orlandofringe.org/Where-to-park

What food and drinks are available?
We will have a food truck available in front of The Orlando Shakes and full service bar.

Is the festival accessible?
Yes! Venues are ADA-compliant, and accessibility services, including ASL-interpreted performances, are available. Email boxoffice@orlandofringe.org for all your accessibility questions!

How can I volunteer?
Orlando Fringe relies on amazing volunteers! Sign up by visiting Orlandofringe.org/volunteer to assist with ticketing, ushering, or hospitality and earn free show tickets.

Other Questions

What happens if I miss my show or am late?
All shows start on time and you should arrive early to make sure you don’t miss your show. If you miss your show there is no refunds or exchanges provided. But feel good because your ticket sales go back to the artist.

Can I bring my pet?
Only service animals are permitted inside venues.
